Write for TalentEgg

We’re always looking for talented contributors, so if you’re looking for an opportunity to gain some valuable experience and get your name out there, keep reading.

What we’re looking for:

High-quality articles, videos and other content targeted to our audience.TalentEgg’s audience consists of college students and recent graduates who are approximately 18 to 25 years old. Many of them are experiencing the transition from school to work and everything else that comes along with it. They expect fresh, honest content that helps and entertains them along the way. We are particularly interested in content that is related to any one of our featured industries.

The perspectives and experiences of real students and new graduates.TalentEgg.com is not like other career websites. We’re focused on bringing students and grads the stories, experiences and ideas of their peers, so we expect that most of our content will feature real college students and grads.

Commitment. Like we mentioned above, we’re pretty flexible, but you must be able to submit high-quality work on the deadlines we set with you.

Honesty and integrity. ’nuff said, right? Tell the truth and don’t steal other people’s work.

Participation. TalentEgg is not a one-way conversation. We encourage our contributors to get even more involved by sparking discussion in the comments of other contributors’ articles, posting ideas and advice on our discussion board, and sharing TalentEgg content through social networking websites, such as Twitter and Facebook.

What we can offer you:

Flexibility. We’re pretty open in terms of what you can write about, what style you write it in and where you write it from. You’ll have the opportunity to write on a range of different topics, or just one if that’s what you’d prefer, and the ability to write from home, school or wherever you spend most of your time.

Exposure. TalentEgg.com and TalentEgg.ca have a North American-wide audience made up of millions of students and recent grads, as well as representatives from hundreds of top employers. You’ll receive full credit for your work in the form of a byline, head shot and short biography. There is also the potential for your work to be published in print and elsewhere online through our content partnerships. For example, each week a few of our articles are published in Metro newspapers across the U.S. (Mondays) and Canada (Wednesdays).

Experience. You’ll gain hands-on experience researching, conducting interviews and writing in as many different styles as you’re willing to take on, including profiles, how-to articles, news pieces, personal columns and more.

Pay (for dedicated contributors). We pay contributors a flat rate per piece if: a) the piece can be published as part of a Career Guide, or b) the contributor commits to submitting a minimum of 4 pieces per month.
